Guiding mothers through the physical and emotional changes of motherhood with coaching and Pilates.

WORK WITH ME

Becoming a mother is one of the biggest transformations you’ll ever experience - emotionally, physically, mentally, and socially.

Feeling lost, disconnected from your body, or unsure of who you are now is incredibly common - and completely normal.

REDEFINE MOTHERHOOD ON YOUR TERMS

REDEFINE MOTHERHOOD ON YOUR TERMS —

But it doesn’t have to stay this way.

Matrescence - the profound, often unseen transformation into motherhood, reshapes your body, identity, relationships, and what matters most. Feeling disoriented, disconnected, or mourning the old version of yourself is normal, yet rarely spoken about.

With the right support, this phase can become a doorway to reconnect with your body, reclaim your strength, and step into the mother - and person - you’re becoming.

Imagine moving through your days with more energy, presence, and calm; feeling grounded, confident, and able to experience motherhood as a space for growth, joy, and connection. That’s what I’m all about.

WORK WITH ME

Matrescence (noun)

Matrescence describes the profound process of becoming a mother – a developmental journey and rite of passage that women experience in the first years of motherhood. Biological, psychological, sociocultural, economic, and spiritual changes shape this often 2–3 year transformation, profoundly affecting identity, relationships, and life as a whole. Like adolescence, this phase is a natural yet intense period of change, during which roles, priorities, and social connections are redefined and deep personal growth takes place.

KIND WORDS FROM MY CLIENTS

  • "Training with Pia is more than just exercise - it’s a holistic “make-your-life-better-but-have-fun” approach, and I’m so glad I found someone who supports me so well both mentally and physically."

Before I started training, I was a complete beginner, constantly stressed, and struggling with endometriosis.

The best part for me is how I feel afterward: I always feel better in my body than before, and often even proud of what I’ve accomplished. What helps me most is staying consistent, regularly checking in during the goal-setting sessions, and Pia’s support throughout the sessions.

I wanted to build core strength — and I definitely did. My everyday life is easier physically, I’m more flexible, and I can keep up when playing with my kids. That motivates me, even though my muscles are still soft… And I find it amazing how much of a difference it makes when you practice regularly and the movements get better and better.

The realization: I can do more than I think.

I love training online, with set times, in small groups, and live. A session with Pia feels like going to a studio — only I save the commute and can train wherever I want.

So, if you want to get moving again, whether after having children or after a long time without much exercise, if you want to be supported individually according to your fitness level or any limitations, and if you want a Pilates coach who truly loves her job and carries that joy throughout the entire session, Pia is the best choice you can make for yourself.

  • "When I started Pilates with Pia, I was 4 months postpartum, coming out of an intense newborn bubble."

“I was hoping to reconnect with my mind and body and to find a plan or roadmap to my recovery. I had lost some of my confidence after the pregnancy, and couldn't find the motivation to get started. Perhaps the biggest challenge of all.

Pia has a great understanding of the anatomy, and is able to provide all types of adaptations for her students. She was very helpful in providing me with a safe yet strong program whilst I was pregnant, so I figured she can help me with my postpartum body and challenges as well.

I liked the combination of live & pre recorded classes. And how she keeps you accountable for both. Great motivator to show up on the mat when you lack energy or motivation like I did.

I also liked the fact it started slow, with a lot more information and then picked up pace and strength as we grew more connected with our bodies.

Pia is a lovely and cheerful person. She is also very experienced in pregnant / postpartum bodies and has a lot of understanding of the individual needs and feelings.

She is great at adapting the class to your needs, while making sure you do a strong work out. The Pilates program was the boost I needed to get started and keep going after.”

  • Seeing all this change in such a short time fascinated me.

Before I began working with Pia, I was occasionally doing other workouts, but I was struggling to keep a consistent practice, as our life was very unsteady. I felt that I had no control over my body anymore. As a mother of a 4‑year‑old, I felt that I had to say goodbye to feeling strong in my body, that it was in the past, and that I had to convince myself this was okay and that I should not be sad about it. Then I saw Pia make a post on Instagram stories saying she was looking for four tired moms. This was exactly how I felt — that I was a tired mother who needed help moving my body regularly, something I had not been willing to admit before. Then I immediately joined her, and it is around seven months later now, and I am beyond words satisfied with her program.

We are a very small group, which helps me get the attention I need to show up, be present, and get feedback. The classes being online were amazing for me, since I could continue even on vacation and never stop my movement practice, making it a true habit. I have made immense progress. I feel so energized. I feel much more in control of my body, and my core strength is building.

This program is perfect for me. I am really excited to see the changes each month and to hit the goals I have for my body and health, especially with our once‑a‑month private meeting calls to set our monthly goals.

I would advise you not to waste one more moment and begin now working with Pia because this will only be a win for you. She will help you show up for yourself and guide your body toward strength and power. She is amazing at taking it step by step, and you will, in no time, feel so strong and yet without forcing anything. Her light and bright energy is very uplifting, and her attention to you will make you feel very nourished and taken care of.

Thank you so much, Pia, for being the amazing teacher and guide that you are.

  • "For me, coaching was the perfect start to a journey and I had several aha-moments."

“I really enjoyed having someone to ‘spar’ with, who supported me through reflection and helped me move forward, who gave me more tools and was my “conscience” (in the sense of accountability). Pia is a great coach with a lot of empathy, someone who knows how to ask the right questions and also when you are ready for certain topics. I recommend the program to anyone who dares to question themselves on their life journey, wants to take new paths, and wants to take care of themselves.”

    — ALINE

  • "In the first six weeks, I was already able to achieve some milestones that I hadn’t even dared to tackle before."

I actually thought I didn’t need coaching and that I would “get around to” dealing with my issues on my own someday soon. But once I started working with Pia, she guided me in a different, and truly promising direction. The program has a very individual approach and a clear plan you can follow. I quickly learned to trust myself more.

    — MARLENE

  • "I feel so much more in flow and have been able to let go of a lot of inner pressure."

“Working with Pia has given me clarity about where I stand and where I want to go. She helped me prioritise my needs and confidently communicate my boundaries. Pia brings so much curiosity and joy to her work that opening up felt completely natural. I also loved the combination of conversation and Pilates - it really helped me feel aligned.

Her thoughtful questions sparked reflection and new insights. I could share even uncomfortable things without judgment, which felt incredibly freeing. Pia showed me how beneficial it is to seek support for my own growth, and I would gladly work with her again.”

    — JANA

  • "My strength is somewhere within me, and Pia helped me find it again."

Before I started Pilates, my body was still weak after two pregnancies, and I wanted to feel strong again. The goal settings are a great motivation and also help to build consistency. Simply sticking with it at the beginning helped me the most. Since training with Pia, I feel good, definitely stronger, I have no problem jumping up from the floor, and I’ve built a solid routine.

    — MARLENE

  • "I am even more keen and enthusiastic to continue working out."

“I really appreciated the Pilates classes. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and for your kind and enthusiastic approach! I joined to get a kick start after years with small kids and less workout. It was also a good reminder to just do it, even if you are a bit tired, stressed, etc.”

    — Erika

  • "I think what made the big difference was being able to train from home."

“I feel stronger in my core and more energized and feel that my posture is better and that I am more aware of it. My most favorite part of this program is the combination of live classes, the accountability, but also the personal connection and being part of a group.”

    — LEIRE

  • "I loved the Pilates classes!"

“I felt so much better after each class and noticed that it is absolutely possible doing it before work!”

    — DAGAMR
